Cheryl Brody Franklin ’04

Cheryl graduated summa cum laude from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, where she majored in magazine journalism and Spanish.

She started her career as an editorial assistant
 at JANE magazine, where she launched janemag.com. She left to work at CosmoGirl as the first “hybrid” staffer to work on the magazine and the website.

For the last five years, Cheryl was an editor at InStyle.com, overseeing partnerships and social media, and she is currently a contributing style editor at People. She was a blogger for Glamour.com's relationship blog, Smitten, and she has written for Time Out New York, Allure.com, Luckymag.com and Travel + Leisure, where she was an ASME (American Society of Magazine Editors) intern.

Cheryl lives in New Jersey with her husband and two sons.
