Fashion Design program hosts annual presentation
June 8, 2016
The Fashion Design program in Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts held its annual fashion presentation at Lubin House just before the Memorial Day holiday.
The presentation included the top 10 six-piece collections from the Senior Fashion Design students, as well as 18 designs from the Fashion Without Limits Design Initiative size 12+ garments designed by the junior-level class. 'Fashion Without Limits' is a partnership with iconic supermodel and entrepreneur Emme ‘85 and Wolf Form Company, Inc.
The evening also marked the NYC book launch of ‘Vintage Details; a Fashion Sourcebook’ by Jeffrey Mayer, faculty in the Fashion Design program and curator of the Sue Ann Genet Costume Collection, featured in the book, and Basia Szkutnicka, a London-based Fashion lecturer and avid vintage collector.
We’ve created an album to view photos from the evening on Facebook.
