SUArt Galleries presents an Al Hirschfeld panel discussion

The Lubin House and SUArt Galleries hosted a celebration of the Al Hirschfeld’s work and a special panel discussion, just as the popular exhibition was coming to a close.
On the evening of April 7, attendees were treated to a panel comprised of Louise Hirschfeld Cullen, Hirschfeld archivist David Leopold, and author Hal Drucker ’53, who came together to discuss the life, talent and legacy of the iconic artist and his work. For more than 80 years, Hirschfeld, whom some refer to as The Line King, illustrated luminaries of the stage, screen, and television for The New York Times, Playbill, and TV Guide. Guests also had one last chance to take in the exhibition.
