Lubin House Celebrates 50th Anniversary with an Open House
June 5, 2015
A celebratory mood filled the air at Lubin House on June 5, buildings 11 and 15 packed with guests honoring 50 years of Syracuse University in NYC. The first program hosted in the facility nearly 50 years to the day was for university trustees and probably a far cry from the buoyant music, networking and laughter that occurred during this event. The capacity crowd, over 200 strong, streamed between the Pergament Room, 1870 Room, Palitz Gallery on up to the Library on the third floor where a different vibe was awaiting them in each location including activities for kids adults of all ages like a photo booth and basketball toss. Dinosaur BBQ filled the bellies of the guests while champagne and cupcakes courtesy Carly's Better Bites topped them off.
