Fashion Without Limits
November 21, 2014
Supermodel and entrepreneur Emme ’85 led a panel discussion at Syracuse University’s Fisher Center, addressing plus-size fashion and why design for all sizes is the future of the industry.
The event follows an announcement that the fashion design program in the College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) at Syracuse University has joined with Emme to launch “Fashion Without Limits,” a design initiative that promotes the creation of size 12+ designs in the junior year through a special competition. “Fashion Without Limits” was created in direct response to a need for increased availability of size 12+ fashions throughout all levels of distribution in the fashion industry today.
